We view leadership differently.

We believe all humans have the same fundamental needs, that when met, bring out the best in us, and it is the role of the leader to create the conditions that meet those needs.

At Humanity Inc we help our clients unlock the full potential of their people by creating iconic places of work where people can ‘be’ and ‘do’ their best every day.

We are committed to creating a movement where work is a force for good in the world. We do this by helping leaders build iconic teams and businesses where society prospers because people thrive.

If you are looking to develop leaders, teams, businesses, schools or institutions that thrive and succeed, then we are here to help.

It’s all about leadership

In today’s world we face a myriad of challenges, from climate change and economic instability, to social injustice, geopolitical tension and technological disruptions. These challenges require and demand leaders who are not only visionary, but also deeply committed to creating a better future for humanity.

At Humanity Inc we develop leaders, teams and individuals to have a positive impact on humanity.

In a world where the ripple effects of negative leadership are more pronounced than ever before, we need leaders that create conditions that meet our needs and challenge us to ‘be better’. These leaders recognize that innovative solutions to today’s challenges arise from collaboration and use their influence to inspire meaning, growth, connection, autonomy, and belonging towards a brighter future, where everyone feels they have a role in creating it.

Wherever there is leadership, the impact of it is more significant now than at any time in the history of humanity.

Leadership is harming humanity

Poor leadership not only costs humanity, it also is harming humanity.

Second-rate leadership decreases morale, increases turnover, reduces productivity and performance, delivers poor decision making that diminishes innovation and creativity (the very qualities that determine consistent success in today’s world) leading to a negative and toxic culture, increased stress, fatigue and mental well-being issues, reduced customer satisfaction and employee retention, financial losses and eventually reputational damage through legal non-compliance.

Over the last 30 years, humanity has watched a litany of leaders damage their company’s performance and reputation with a huge cost to their business, the people who work for them and wider society.

From the ‘great resignation’ post COVID, to employees ‘quietly quitting’ we are witnessing increased absenteeism, higher turnover costs and never before recorded levels of work-related stress, fatigue and wellbeing issues, leading this to be the very real, modern-day leadership challenge.

Right now, in the UK, this alone is costing businesses and our wider society a total economic cost of £105 billion per year. According to Gallup, disengaged employees cost their company the equivalent of 18% of their annual salary.

This means that for a company with 3000 employees, with 40% engagement at an average salary of £50k – the annual cost of disengagement £19M.

What is this costing your company?

This is us…

We are experienced leadership and organisational development consultants specialising in social and behavioural sciences.

We believe that leadership creates culture, culture creates ‘conditions’ and it’s these ‘conditions’ that determine the degree to which humans perform, or not.

If you are looking to take yourself, your team, or your business, school, institution to the next level of performance, then this is what we do.

Our clients range from different sizes and sectors from around the world and typically approach us because of one of four following requirements:

  1. They are experiencing challenging times and are looking to explore new, exciting and relevant ways of increasing leadership impact on performance and culture
  2. They wish to create an exceptional performance environment where they continually want to be better today, than they were yesterday
  3. They aspire to higher levels of performance but without increasing stress, and fatigue in the team, organisation, school or institution
  4. They intend to create a leadership legacy that will bring lasting value to humanity
